JLPT 2008 at SOAS

After spending the summer working and started learning Japanese through self-studying. I just received my confirmation for my application to sit this years JLPT on 7th December. I have decided to sit the level 3 test paper because I found level 4 quite easy to tackle, so won’t be doing that level (especially if you know chinese for the kanji parts). But the problem is that the only place in the whole of the United Kingdom where I can take the JLPT is in London at SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies – London University). Which is 3 and a half hours of travelling from where I live, which sucks. Another thing is that I’ll be in Hong Kong for my cousins wedding for 8 days before the test (and I’ll probably visit Tokyo for a few days since I have never been there before). So when I arrive back in the UK on the 5th of December, I probably be too tired due to jet lag and I have a test in 2 days time, lovely. I was thinking of staying in London to take the test before heading home, but it is one damn expensive place to stay and visit, well I will decide when the time comes. Hopefully I will do well in the JLPT level 3 in December and good luck to those around the world doing the JLPT at any level this year (including fellow blogger Double at http://www.furuanimepanikku.com/2008/08/14/jlpt-4-mock-test/)

Bring on the 7th of December.
